  • Do you guarantee results?
The results clients see are based on their commitment and effort to the training plan created for them. I am available in between via phone call/email/text for clients every step of the way for continued support. The amount of time I directly spend with a client and dog is small compared to the amount of time in between each lesson. Each training session is followed up with an email recapping the important topics and homework to help the client learn and build their skills in between each session.
  • How do I get started?
You can fill out a contact form under the "contact" page. Please include what area of Seattle you live in, and what you are looking for help with. Once we receive the email, you can expect a response within 24-48 hours.
  • What should I have prepared for my training session?
Always have more food rewards than you think you'll need! It's better to end with extra than run out. The use of food happens frequently when we start training, we want the dog to love training. If your dog prefers to work with a toy like a ball or tug toy, make sure those are ready. You will start your first lesson using whatever current equipment you have for your dog. The decision of what other leashes and rewards to use will be discussed during the consultation and initial lesson.
  • What sort of dogs have you worked with?
I have worked with a variety of dogs, ranging from simple pet dogs to dog-aggressive dogs. Working at a daycare gave me a lot of exposure and experience to a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, and personalities. While I worked under trainers, I learned how to work with more intense breeds such as German Shepherds and Pitbulls. I've helped dogs and clients work through leash aggression, separation anxiety, and general reactive behaviors. I've also taught many clients and their dogs basic obedience with crate training, door manners, and walking appropriately on a leash.
